Hallie bragged that Kiowa’s Life Is What You Make It (Eleanor) qualifed in 3 out of 3 coursing ability tests at the Mt Bachelor show, getting her CA title. Hallie released her for her first time, but Eleanor somehow did not see the lure. She proceeded to run all over the entire field looking for it, eventually realized where it was and qualified with a time of almost 2 minutes for only 300 yards. Hallie also bragged that she and Kiowa’s Rhinestone Cowboy (Nucky) competed in their first AKC agility trial at the Mt Bachelor show. Despite getting the worst sunburn of her life and not qualifying in any of the 6 runs entered, she had a great time. Nucky thoroughly enjoyed himself trying to smell every blade of grass in between the weave poles while sort of listening to his handler’s directions around each course. He timed out almost every time, but did manage to complete every course. They will be doing an encore performance in Ridgefield this coming weekend.

Hallie bragged for Roland that Kiowa’s Rhinestone Cowboy (Nucky) completed his CA title at the Mt Bachelor show with his fastest time at 22.15 seconds for 300 yards. Roland is ready to challenge anyone to a race since he believes Nucky is the fastest cairn terrier in the pacific northwest.
