Hallie bragged: Johnny was entered in the 4-day Puyallup dog show plus the 5-day Rose City Classic dog show in an attempt to finally finish his grand championship. After getting Best of Breed for the first two days at Puyallup, he was only one tiny point away from the goal. So Johnny continued collecting spare grand champion points by getting Select Dog on the third and fourth days at Puyallup, plus another Select Dog at Rose City, to be officially known as GCH CH KinLoch’s Quarry Man at Lee Park FDC JE CGC ATT, aka Johnny, John-John, Johnna and a variety of other ridiculously cutesy names, depending on what he’s doing or if he’s in trouble. This is Hallie’s first and only dog to obtain a grand champion title, definitely a bucket list item, one that she is quite sure she never wants to attempt again. But the most important accomplishment Johnny has ever achieved is to be the most kind, gentle, and loving dog companion Hallie could ever even dream of.
