    Follow-up From June 21 Specialty

Several members voiced an interest in having other locations considered for the independent specialty. Concerns with the Canby site related to traffic and grooming.  There was a lengthy discussion at the July 2nd club meeting. Location ideas were Albany (April), Salem (March), and Vancouver (October) in association with the all breed shows at those locations. Given the timeline, the specialty will remain in Canby in 2025.

The Board is soliciting ideas for moving the specialty to another location. Interested members can make a proposal to the Board which will then be voted on by the membership. The proposal should include details on costs, logistics, and confirmation that the location and/or associated clubs will allow ours to be an independent specialty not a designated or concurrent specialty.

    Storage Unit:

Interest in moving the storage unit to another location has been voiced. Any club member interested in making a change to the location of the storage unit, may make a proposal to the Board. A new location should be no more expensive than the current lease amount and would need to take into consideration the lease-end date of the current unit. The Board welcomes proposals.
