Fall entered our little corner of the world very gently and, as usual, beautifully. The autumn colors always brighten our days and the rain avoided us for a time so we could enjoy the crisp crunch of the leaves under our feet.
After all the activities of the year, this fall will be relatively quiet (at least at the time of this article).
August 11 was the best Annual Toto Trot ever. Cairns and their owners from all over joined us at Commonwealth Lake Park in Beaverton to leisurely stroll around the lake. Next will be a Barn Hunt Practice, November 3 at Roland and Hallie’s in Battle Ground, WA. This event is open to all breeds and brings lots of fun with Rats! Thank you to the Barn Hunt Practice Committee: Ilene Kaplan, Vicki Havlik, Linda Kenney, Fran Wright, Betsy Peets, Hallie Gould and Roland Smith.
