Dr Paul Schierlie will conduct eye tests on Cairns (and non-Cairns) at very reduced rate of $20 per dog. On-site payment by cash, check, or credit cards accepted.
Your dog will have eye drops put in 15-30 minutes prior to exam. To ensure efficient use of Dr. Schierlie's time, exams may be staggered for those bringing more than one dog.
Tests performed:
CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) - should be done by one year of age; repeated annually.
OM (Ocular Melanosis) Screening - should be done after three years of age; repeated annually.
