Dr Paul Schierlie will conduct eye tests on Cairns (and non-Cairns) at very reduced rate of $20 per dog. (Cash, check, or credit cards accepted).

Cairns 10 years or older - no charge!

Your dog will have eye drops put in 15-30 minutes prior to exam. Exams will be staggered for those bringing more than one dog.

Tests performed:

  • CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation) - should be done by one year of age; repeated annually.
  • OM (Ocular Melanosis) Screening - should be done after three years of age; repeated annually.
