Virtual Toto Trot

Cairns and Community. In this year of COVID-19 we are still supporting community, this year with a virtual Toto Trot. To increase opportunities for participation Toto Trot will run the entire month of September. We'd love your participation and support! Won't you spend an hour walking for Cairns and community?
Beneficiary: This year in memory of club member and friend Sharon Lannigan donations will benefit Heifer International.
How to Participate
With Virtual Toto Trot we welcome Cairns and Cairn friends anywhere in the world. Please join us virtually! There are several ways to participate in Toto Trot:
- walk the official route
- walk your neighborhood
- donate directly
Walk the Official Route
If we were not social distancing this year we would be walking a circular route around Commonwealth Lake Park in Beaverton (there's a map below). It is an easy and pleasant walk around a suburban park. You can walk this route on your own schedule while maintaining social distancing for your own comfort and safety. To support our beneficiary we encourage you to use the donation link on this page to contribute as much or as little as you like, before or after your walk. Every little bit helps!

Walk Your Neighborhood
You can Trot your Toto anywhere in the world, including your own neighborhood or even your back yard! A virtual Toto Trot can take place anywhere that works for you. To support our beneficiary we encourage you to use the donation link on this page to contribute as much or as little as you like, before or after your walk. Every little bit helps!

Toto Trot "Official" Location and Route
Commonwealth Lake Park
Foothill Drive @ Dellwood Ave

Since we are not walking as a group this year you can start and end your walk anywhere you like! The traditional route begins at the Commonwealth Lake Trail at the West end of the park at the junction of Foothill Drive and Dellwood Avenue. There is street parking only (please be considerate of park neighbors).
When mapping your route to the site, be aware that the park address is generally listed as either SW Foothill and SW Huntington or SW Butner and SW Huntington (the East end of the park). However for easier neighborhood parking we recommend parking near the West entrance of the park, as shown in the satellite view showing the Toto Trot path and in the linked map.
The short walk shown in orange circles the lake while the longer route shown in red adds a segment through the wooded Foothill Park, left on Alcott, and back along Lanewood to complete the loop along the back side of the lake.
Commonwealth Lake Park features abundant wildlife habitat therefore all dogs must be on leash and under control at all times.
