    Saturday October 14, 2017 10am—3pm Learn, practice, individual tutoring and lunch! Would you like to learn how, or improve your Cairn Terrier grooming? Whether for the show ring or to keep your cairn more tidy, this seminar is for you! Some of our club’s most experienced Cairn groomers will be sharing their experience, tips and grooming techniques for Cairns. We will have an informative day with presentations in the morning, a break for a provided lunch, and individual hands-on help working on your own dog in the afternoon. A Cairn grooming brush and $25 gift certificate will be raffled. We will have an informative day with presentations in the morning, a break for a chili or vegetable soup lunch with all the fixings, and individual hands on help from all of the grooming presenters on your own dog in the afternoon.   6. 2013 Specialty Baskets for Raffle Hi all, We need your help to gather donations for baskets for our Specialty raffle. This is the main fund raising effort for the Club for the year. Please consider helping to coordinate or donate to this very important effort! If there is another theme of interest, please let us know. Let one of the committee members know how you would be able to help. Thanks in advance for your support! Way and Means Committee 2013 Specialty Roles and Responsibilities Develop strategy and plans for raising $1000 for the CRCTC club @ the 2013 July Specialty Communicate to club fund raising plans and solicit club members and others to donate time, gifts and materials for fund raising activities Solicit club members to transport baskets to and from hotel hospitality suite and show site Solicit ideas from club members for fund raising Formulate budget Solicit ideas for raffle gift from club members Purchase raffle gift with Club funds Create raffle flyers Publicize raffle and fund raising ideas to club members, other clubs and the public, before the show during the show and at the dinner Display prizes and communication material in an attractive way at the show and hospitality suite Collect money for raffle and fund raising tickets Process credit card payments? Maintain accounting for monies gathered and spent and provide to specialty chair and club treasurer Are there any approvals required for any of the above activities?
