    Toto Trot 2016 and Fun Day

    Toto Trot 2016  &  9th Annual Cairntastic Fun Day

    Bring your best friend(s), a chair, a potluck dish and your fun-loving self! 

    If you have an ex-pen and a pop up canopy bring those too, this event goes on come fain or shine!  Here is what we have in store for you:

    9:00 Toto Trot registration. No entry fee but your donation welcomed. Donations benefit The Little Dog Laughed, an all-volunteer organization that teaches relationship and problem-solving skills to at-risk youths.  Top 3 on-site donors get a prize! 

    Raffle Tickets, $1.00 each. Three great prizes to be raffled off. You must be present to win.

    10:00 am Toto Trot Begins. Get to know our club members and maybe learn more out about your Cairn Terrier or the breed on a group walk.

    11:30 Lunch is served.  Club will provide hot dogs, buns, condiments, plates & flatware.  Bring your favorite potluck dish to share with us.

    12:30-3:00 Games, games, games! Fun for you and your Cairn pals.

    The Little Dog Laughed has identified a powerful and perhaps surprising inflection point that with early intervention can improve the lives of children, pets, families, and society.

    Uncomfortable Fact: Most perpetrators of domestic violence are also harming the family pets. One study reported that 48 percent to 71 percent of battered women reported that their pets had also been threatened, harmed, or killed by their partners. The most statistically reliable predictor for determining if a child will grow up to be a violent offender of any kind is witnessing animal abuse as a child. What a child sees he is likely to repeat. Early intervention is critical.
