Greetings to our friends in the Northwest business community

The members of the Columbia River Cairn Terrier Club have been given the privilege of hosting a special event of national scope that will bring Cairn Terriers to Portland, Oregon from around the United States and Canada on July 23-26, 2010. You may recognize the Cairn Terrier as Toto from the Wizard of Oz.

What we’re trying to do

While the purpose of our event is to convene the top Cairn Terriers in the country, as a club we have a secondary goal of showing off the best of the Northwest to our fellow Cairn enthusiasts. We would like to partner with regional businesses who exhibit the same “Best of Breed” qualities that we seek in our beloved Cairn Terriers.

What’s in it for you

By highlighting regional businesses we are especially proud of, we believe our guests will carry your good name home with them, laying the foundation for future business at the very least, if not for business while they are enjoying their summertime travels to the Northwest.

We won’t kid you – a successful event for us may only bring only a couple hundred people to Portland. But for people in our sport this will be a significant event –the sort of occasion that creates lasting memories. Would you like to be part of that positive association?

The fine print: While we are incorporated as non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of the Cairn Terrier, we are not charted as a 501(c)3 charity so we must inform you that donations are not tax-deductible as charitable giving.
