Site Software Upgrade

CRCTC members: site software has been upgraded and you’ll need to register a new login for full access. It’s easy. Here’s how:

Welcome to the new web site. Because the site now uses an entirely new content management system, your old login no longer works for members-only access. This article will help CRCTC club members get started on the new site by showing you how to register and log in.  Registering gives you access to additional resources on the site, and there are several new features of the new content management system that will make the site more useful than ever before.

Getting started is a simple as clicking the Register link!

Fill out the registration form. Be sure to put your real name in the “Screen Name” box so that we can verify your membership in the club. Make a note of your chosen username and password. I recommend a short, simple, and easy to remember username - it’s only used for login. Being lazy, I’d probably choose the same login as the old site. Double-check that your email address is correct! The site needs it to contact you.

After you submit the form, an email is sent to the web site administrator. To keep the site free of spammers and other nightmares, each registration must be manually approved. I normally can respond in a few hours. If I’m traveling, it may take a couple of days. If I’m confused (well, it happens) I may need to consult with the treasurer or secretary. Please be patient. After your registration is turned on, you will get an email inviting you to log in. Hope you wrote down your username and password! (Don’t worry if you forget it, there is a link to help you reset it automatically.)

After you log in, you can click on the Your Account link and personalize your profile.

Most of the information is optional or not used. You don’t have to do anything.
