2010 Specialty and CTCA National Roving

Thank you for joining us as we were honored to host the Cairn Terrier Club of America Roving national specialty and our own third regional specialty. We loved having you and your dogs joining us to celebrate Days of Cairns and Roses.  You created a stunning bouquet of Cairns! Congratulations to all our winners, thank you to all our exhibitors, and we look forward to seeing you again!

A Note About Premium Lists

Premium lists for the Stumptown Cluster (CTCA Roving) and the Combined Specialties (CRCTC) are mailed separately. You will want to consult both premium lists for accurate entry information for the Roving and Regional specialties - even when entering online.

The premium list for the earthdog tests will be posted online here, and on the CTCA events calendar. Unlike conformation events, gate (day-of) entries will be permitted for the earthdog tests, subject to entry closing times posted in the premium lists. Pre-entries are of course welcome; they typically offer a pre-entry discount and pre-entries are a considerable kindness to the event secretary.

Grooming

Reserved Grooming: CRCTC has reserved six 10x10 grooming spaces for the communal use of our members and Cairn guests. Because space can be tight we ask that you stack crates efficiently and limit and share chairs to the extent possible. No ex-pens in the communal grooming area. A donation of $5/crate would be gratefully received as means to recover some of the cost. If you prefer having your own reserved space, see premium list for reservation details.

Grooming Tables: For our out-of-town exhibitors who are flying in, we are able to provide a limited number of complimentary grooming tables and crates on-site at the Expo Center for your convenience. To reserve a table and/or crate, contact .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) (503-761-3950)

In addition to a lengthy list of amenities, the property features recently redecorated rooms, a riverfront promenade, and a friendly staff. The hotel is very dog-aware and several clubs use it throughout the year to host their specialties on-site. Well-behaved and closely-watched dogs are welcome throughout the grounds, including the lobby. There are casual sitting areas at regular intervals along the corridors on all levels, giving the hotel a convivial feel and providing lots of opportunity to visit with friends old and new.

The Jantzen Beach shopping center is less than a half-mile away, with a variety of shopping and a variety of dining choices without leaving Hayden Island.
