Geriatric Cairn Calendar

image

No, the calendar isn’t old - it’s the Cairns! For our A/OA match we are offering a very special raffle - a beautiful handmade calendar honoring geriatric Cairns. Most of the images are local Cairns belonging to CRCTC members - but all of the Cairns are venerable companions and Cairns of distinction in their own right. Any Cairn lover would be touched by these artful hand-made calendar pages bearing the likeness of dogs who have themselves been touched with tincture of time.

Tickets are five dollars each and can be obtained from .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).  The drawing will take place during our A/OA match on October 14th and you need not be present to win.

Update: Congratulations to raffle winner Vicky Montgomery!

Newsletter - Post to Site

Uploading Newsletters

These instructions assume you have a PDF ready to go, and that you are logged in to the Columbia site. Note: change to 1. upload without placement, 2. copy/paste/edit link text.

Go to http://www.crctc.org/post/comments/newsletter-archive/

Click the edit icon at the end of the article. This will open up the publish/edit page for that article.

Click the file upload icon
Browse to the newsletter PDF, open/select it, and click Upload.
As soon as you see the File Uploaded status message in green, do not click either of the 'Place File' buttons but instead, click the Close Window link at the bottom.
You will need to edit the text after the <a href...> tag and just before the closing </a> tag to name the issue of the newsletter you are uploading. Study the existing text to match the pattern. Be sure to insert a space between the closing /> of the img src image tag and the opening <a href of the link tag.
Click the Preview button and make sure that the article looks about right.
The styling won't match the site, but the line breaks and text should be correct. If it isn't, edit the markup in the article body until it's right.

At the top of the edit page, click the Date tab and then click Today at the bottom. This will reset the dateline on the article to indicate that it has recently been updated with a new issue of the newsletter.

Click Update to republish the page with the new link to the latest newsletter. Go to http://www.crctc.org/post/comments/newsletter-archive/ and admire your work!

Our Mascot

mascot image

Sa'cairn'gawea - A pun perhaps, but there is much to admire and honor about both our mascot's namesake, and our breed. Rosie, a local Cairn, strikes a pose that evokes for us the spirits of courage, adventure, and generosity.
